    Chaeeun Yoo (any)

    A queer Korean born in Louisiana, Chaeeun Yoo explores the intersections between culture, politics, and identity through varying disciplines of artmaking. Yoo has been recognized by Mint Hill Arts Center and The Kenyon Review and has work forthcoming in The Penn Review. From a writer to a mixed media collagist, Yoo works across disciplines to critique customary perspectives and uplift the self.

    Yeeun Yoo (she/her)

    Based in Philadelphia, Yeeun is a third-year student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Urban Studies and Sociology. She was a featured writer for 34th Street Magazine and received the fellowship award from the Asian American Studies program to conduct independent research: "Militarized Masculinities: A Case of Military Conscription, Gender Norms, Citizenship, and U.S. Imperialism in South Korea." In her free time, she likes to drink matcha, collect art prints, and explore cafes around Philly!

    Ashia Danielle Williams

    Ashia Danielle Williams Wallace is a multidisciplinary artist whose works focus on the intersection of being a Black, Queer, Working-Class Southerner. She carries the intention of building accessible pathways so those with similar identities can see the art in their experiences. She’s based in Charlotte, is a member of the Black art collective, BLKMRKTCLT, and lives with her dog Jon.

    Eisha Aly (she/her)

    Born and raised in Chicago, Eisha is full of passion. Whether it's standing up for others or carving out the intricacies of metaphysics, she’s all about exploring and figuring out life's mysteries. With her background in journalism and current pursuit of Literature at college, Eisha is always looking for ways to level up; at work, school, or on the street. If she’s not learning, she’s working, and if she’s not working, she’s volunteering. Once a fellow for the American Friends Services Committee, and before that a board member for Chicago Youth for Justice, Eisha takes pride in using her voice; not just for advocacy, but also while practicing on her guitar, decimating her friends on mobile games, and rambling aloud to herself while on walks. In all, she’s what one would describe as a certified yapper.

    Ja'Nya Henderson (they/them)

    Ja’Nya Henderson lives in North Carolina and reads Audre Lorde at 5 AM in their dorm everyday. In their creative world, they are known as MinnieAynaj, and Henderson's work has been featured in Revolution Publication, Pile Press, Flurry Lifestyle and America Library of Poetry. They write poetry, short stories and essays and are currently working on their first book, although Ja'Nya can often be found watching anime or hanging out with their girlfriend.

    Halimah Fasasi (she/her)

    Halimah Fasasi is a Philadelphia-based author of short stories, poetry, and articles. She has been published in Voices, a school based newspaper, and was awarded first place for her National History Day research project centered on the socioeconomic and psychological consequences of Japanese-American incarceration. Currently a high school junior, when she’s not cramming for tests or working on a project, she enjoys shopping, reading books, and walking in circles.

    Lev Hesh (he/they)

    Lev Hesh is an aspiring autistic, Korean American poet attending high school in Orlando. He has been recognized by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers and has been named an American Voices Nominee. They have also attended Ellipsis Writing Workshops to further their skills. They love the Jackaby trilogy and, surprisingly, also found great pleasure in their school-mandated reading of The Things They Carried. He aspires to continue writing with depth and passion until he leaves a lasting mark on the world. For now, though, he can be found on Instagram with the user @heshwrites.
